Patricia5827
So I've been wanting to be a PA for years and I can't picture myself doing anything else. I'm starting to apply next cycle in May and UF is one of my top choices. I want your guys' opinions on my stats, I KNOW they're not the best. Overall undergraduate gpa: 3.1 Science gpa: 2.75 HCE: I'd say close to 2000 I've been a scribe for over a year (on their page it says scribing counts as patient experience, I don't have money for any cna or emt courses) I have very good letters from mds and PAs that I work with GRE is next month and my practice scores have been around 310. I'm taking classes this fall and spring to bump up my science gpa. Oh and I have a bachelors in sports and exercise science
khill38
Honestly I would work to improve your science and overall GPA. Unfortunately exercise science isn't one of the strongest degrees to have considering there are many neuroscience, chemistry and biology applicants with strong gpas that you'll be up against. That being said make sure everything is in early and if you fall short of UF there's a chance you'll still end up at a great school! Good luck! Patricia5827
I actually started off as a biomed major so I have all the prereqs done and have extra classes like neuroscience and genetics and all that and then I changed to sports exercise science . But yeah I'm hoping after these classes it'll be bumped up. Thanks!
