UGoLong Posted August 23, 2016 Share Posted August 23, 2016 Your odds of stretching in more than a few days -- except for financial reasons (like to get into September so you'll have the funds) -- is probably slim. MT2PA Posted August 23, 2016 Share Posted August 23, 2016 Unfortunately part of the 'game' so to speak is that you could very well put down one (or several) security deposits only to find out later you get into a program you'd rather attend. It's one of the unspoken understandings of applying. You can certainly ask, but most programs have plenty of people willing to shell out the money ASAP in your absence, and asking may set off a little red flag that you aren't 100% committed/excited to attend that program.
