I reached out today and they received the results from the March meeting. We should be getting an update from FMU in a week or so regarding it, but no further details.

Hoping for some good news tomorrow! Even if the probation was not lifted, I believe the status is still considered accredited according to arc-pa.

Any updates? I personally have not heard anything. I called earlier this week and they said they would be notifying us by the end of this week...

I haven't heard anything either. I guess if they are snail mailing the notifications then it will be next week before they are delivered

I don't think they have mailed anything out yet. I'm just praying that whatever the case is they are still able to enroll students this year. Next cycle starts in two days though, so it would be nice to have some idea what is going on.

The ARC-PA will reconsider the situation at their meeting in September 2017 regarding their next class. And they hope to accept a new class in January 2018 or August 2018

My letter said they wanted to keep me in the pool of applicants for the class in 2018 and I would have to let them know if I wanted to keep my application current for 2018.

Do you think that means we will have to interview again as well?

I'm not sure about interviewing again. But Elizabeth Sadler emailed me back and said that they are going to review some materials in September to see if they can matriculate a class in January or August of 2018 but the main review to decide if they get off probation is in 2019

In truth, having visited the school, I'm fairly confident the school will get this in check. They invested so much in this program; I do think it's worth the wait. I'm willing to hold out. Really, what is an addition 5m or even a year?

I received the letter today as well and replied back saying that I am still very interested in being in the next class. Eager to find out what happens in September.

Yes, I too received the disappointing news. But Im also confident they will receive their accreditation. This was by far one of the nicer programs I visited and it's located in good ol' SC. I'm glad to see that a lot of you are keeping your applications for the next class. Hopefully our paths will cross then!

Do you all think that everyone who interviewed received the same letter or do you think that there were some declines? If others do not mind me asking were there any declines?

I received my letter yesterday and spoke with Elizabeth about keeping my application current. I asked her if they would be interviewing/taking new applications and she said it depends on our response, so the more people to respond about being put back into the pool the better chance we have of them not interviewing anyone new. (If they decide to go that route!)
