I don't think so. I'm kind of just hoping I'll get an interview, which usually includes a tour anyway. I don't know though.

@FuturePa82 May I ask if you got an interview last year? If so, how did it go? I'm really wanting to know about the process like how long it takes to find out if you were even selected for an interview...

I did, and it was long but good. Last year will be different then this year as far as how long the process is, because it was their first year, and they did not go through CASPA. I'm not sure if they are doing the same interview style, if so be prepared for an all day process (they have you do tests, math, written, medical term). They were all very nice and pleasant, and the location is great.

Thanks for the info! I'm really excited about this school and the location. Everyone I have talked to on the phone has been great. Did you go to an info session? Was it worth it?

I did not, I went to 3 other schools info sessions... to me they all seem to be quite similar. If it makes you feel more comfortable, go to it.

I've been to a couple others too and that's kind of how I feel. It would be a 15 hour drive for me or an expensive flight to make a trip there so I might not.

Thanks for all the info and I'll keep you updated as to what I hear from Stephanie, etc.!

Oh yeah if you aren't local, it's not worth the expense. Save for when you get an interview :)

So I got a response from Stephanie Fluitt as to when they would notify us about interviews and when they would start the interviews and she said they would notify us at the earliest, Thanksgiving, but otherwise in December and start interviews at the earliest in late December, but otherwise in January.

I'll let you know if I find out anything else!

I just submitted my verified application here! I'm currently out of state, but I grew up in the Riverside area so it would be pretty cool to go back for PA school :)

How long did it take for you to receive an email confirmation from Cal Baptist?

Well I didn't get a confirmation email per say, but I did get one thanking me for my inquiry in the PA program and it had a digital brochure and introduction to the admission counselor. I didn't "request information" on their website, so I'm assuming this is their confirmation email for CASPA. I got it the day after submitting my app to their school.

I emailed them and they said that they will not send out invites until after their deadline has passed, which is Jan. 15th 2017.

Hello, I have applied for this round. I submitted August 25th and have not received a confirmation email or anything at all actually. Reading the thread I see that interviews are not offered until later, but are there others who have not received confirmation their application was received?

CASPA verified 6/29

Email received from CBU 7/14

When was your CASPA verified? If it's been more than 3 weeks try emailing them to make sure they got it.

Hello everyone I applied to this program this year. I was waitlisted last cycle. It's a great program. Some of my friends are in the inaugural cohort since CBU is my alma mater. They say they're loving it so far, but it is very hard as expected. Good luck to everyone :)

Hi, I am also an applicant this cycle. I submitted my CASPA in August but did not receive any confirmation so I sent them an email and this was their response!

"Thanks for your message! Due to the high volume of applicants, we are not sending out individual confirmations at this time. However, I looked in CASPA and your application did make it through. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted some time in January."

Hi I was wondering if anyone ever took the Masters in Medical Science program from UNTHSC before applying for PA school?
      It's a 1 rigorous program.
I am interested in applying for it to possibly strengthen my application, but I would love some insight from anyone who had taken it too.

What are my chances to get into a PA program? What programs would accept me? Or should I apply to post bacc/ or masters program?
I have a 2.88 GPA. BS in Human Biology. I have not taken the GRE. I am 26yrs Female AA. I have well over 1000 hours of clinical experience (paid, nonpaid/volunteer).
I currently took a leave of absence from my position as a High-school science teacher, to take Biochemistry, Epidemiology and study for MCAT (plan on applying to Master of Biomedical to gain acceptance into DO school which is my ultimate dream). I am also considering PA school
MY  Letters Of Recommendation is from a  Chief PA at a  hospital and 2 MDs that are Directors  of Hospital.

I want to remain hopeful but my dreams seem like they are drifting further away from me each day. I need advice.

      Hi everyone!
Does anyone here know what the preferred housing options are for the students in the PA program? Is it more convenient/affordable for the students to live in the dorms on campus or do most of the students commute from elsewhere in Manhattan/another boro for the entirety of the program? Thanks in advance!

      Hello!
I was wondering if anyone accepted into Boston University's program could share or message their application stats (gpa, HCE...), I want to know whether, if I were to apply in a later cycle I could be considered a competitive applicant. Thank you for reading this and thank you for your time, I appreciate it a lot!
      -Maylily7
P.S. I'll put my stats here if ya want to comment on my chances of acceptance: cGPA 3.7, sGPA 3.5, Dean's List 7/8 semesters (currently in my last semester), about 100 hours volunteering for my school's EMS. I don't have a lot of Patient care hours but I am hoping to take a gap year and work on that. I also hope to retake the GRE to improve my score as well. Again, thanks so much!
