I guess you and I are the only ones applying to Lemoyne. Lol. Good luck

Looks like there might be 4 of us that have applied!! I wish you all the best during the application process! I am a born and raised New Yorker! The winter weather is definitely something to get used to from Cali! But the Summers and Spring are beautiful!

I applied last month and have received my completion email. This sitting around waiting game is hard. My husband and I just moved up here from KY because he is in the military. We picked the NY area just because there are a handful of schools here that I can apply to. Does anyone know how many students they accept? I have seen two different numbers on their website that differ by about 20 students.

I also applied and I met with the grad school admission advisor about two weeks ago. If I remember correctly she said they take 75 students but 10 of those seats are held for Le Moyne students. So essentially there are 65 seats available. She also said they don't start reviewing apps until Oct.1 and the interviews are only given on January 4, 5, 6th.

That's great to hear. This year timeline shows:

  • Fall 2017 application deadline = Oct. 1, 2016
  • Application review = Oct. 1 – Nov. 30
  • Interview invitations extended by telephone call = Nov. 1 - Nov. 30
  • On-campus interviews =

    Jan. 5, 6, 7, 2017

  • Admission notification = byFebruary 15.

It looks like this year they are January 5, 6, 7 th and they will start with calls in November!

Good luck everyone :)

When I visited with the admissions director she said they get about 1000-1300 applications just like most schools but they tend to weed out people if they have under a 3.3 GPA, since they don't even look at the GRE. I believe they interview around 200 for the 65 seats. STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK, hopefully soon.

She was referring to both the cum. and science GPA's I believe. However she was also big on your HCE, make sure that it is actually DIRECT patient care. They are looking for atleast 750 hours at the time of application. I would definitely still apply if you have good HCE even if your GPA is below a 3.3. It's strange that they don't use the GRE at all....

@abohunicky13  Oh I see. Well that's good to know. My cum and science for undergrad are weak. But, luckily I have about 3500 HCE (Direct) and took some graduate school science courses that they will hopefully consider! Thanks for sharing. Good luck to you!

Received an interview invitation this afternoon. They asked that I contact them tomorrow with what day I'd like to interview on. Good luck everyone!

Congrats! When did you apply? Also was the invitation by phone or email?

Was it by phone?? I am worried because at my work I don't get any reception!! Would they leave a message or email??
