Hey guys I applied for the bayshore 2017 august cycle and kind of late, I got all my recommendation letters, personal letter, etc verified all I was waiting for was my updated transcript from one of the colleges I attended because I had taken a winter history course for one of the required pre-reqs and I wanted it all to fall into place. So feb 1st is when I submitted my application and feb 7th is when I got an email from touro saying they have to conduct a review and evaluation of my application. Did I apply late in the sense that they are very few spots open because they already sent out acceptance and interview letters? I really dont understand. Also what were all of your stats and experiences? Just to gauge where I stand :(

Why were you told you wouldn't know until June? do you have classes still pending?

      Hey everyone!

I was recently accepted into a program for fall of 2020. BIOCHEM was not a prerequisite, but I have been currently retaking the class in case I had to re apply. My acceptance is conditional based on having an up to date physical and that is It (I already submitted the physical). My question is, is It worth finishing up this class strong? Or should I stop putting effort into the class and relax until my program starts? I’m not sure what to do & don’t want to waste time studying if I do not have to! Thanks !!

      Hello everyone,
I am new to this site and I would really appreciate if I can receive advice. I have an undergraduate GPA of 3.045 right now this is prior to my spring semester grades being placed in and I project my GPA to raise but I guess not much since I will mostly have A's and B's. I am also graduating in December so I have one more semester. What makes me nervous is that Yale requires prereq's that I don't have yet (Micro, A&P I AND II, and Biochem) but I have the statistics portion. Luckily, Yale doesn't require any labs for the prereq's. Yale's minimum GPA req is a 2.8 however, CASPA hasn't calculated my GPA yet and based on what I've heard a CASPA gpa is way lower than your transcript gpa and I want to be competitive.
Not to mention that I am a psychology major which is already not the usual biology/chem. My major (science undergraduate) is a 3.5.
My plans were this summer to take these classes at a community college while completing classes towards finishing my degree at my usual university. The reason for this is due to COVID-19 and my school deciding to continue remote learning via ZOOM. My university doesn't have the best science professors from what I heard and what I seen (taking chem which I got an A in). I figured community college whose curriculum is already set up as online would be much easier for me to pick u in and CHEAPER of course. I say all of this to ask if it makes since to put myself through all of this in the summer if I may not get an interview based on the fact that my regular GPA is 3.0 and even if I take all of these classes and receieve a 4.0 I doubt my CASPA gpa will be raised by that much.
      My PCE (Paid) is 2000.

Hello, I am a student doing my bachelor's and was wondering if there are any PA in Long Island -preferably in Northwell or Winthrop hospital - that are willing to take a shadow on. I am trying to get my shadowing hours complete before starting CASPA. Thank You!

Hi !! I am hoping to get into Touro's PA program in Henderson, Nevada - has anyone applied or gotten in? I would love any information on the interview process, stats and if you received an interview, were accepted or denied or anything at all you can offer!
