alird34
I also received the call. Woke up to it this morning, in fact. Best alarm ever!!! I'm still in shock. Best early Christmas present ever! Congrats to everyone else accepted!
kinjacin
Did anyone get the follow up email yet?
GWUlian
Congrats all! The wait between the call and the follow up email was nerve-wracking. "Did I just hallucinate that conversation in a haze of anxiety and stress?!?" I still have my voicemail from Erin saved asking me to call her back lol. Don't know if you guys have started a Facebook group yet but PM me a link when you do and I'd be happy to keep answering questions/starting to get to know all of you! :)

alykat05
I'm in waitlist limbo. At least there's still a chance but I'll try not to get my hopes up.
GWUlian
I got off the waitlist and I know many people in our class did too. Best wishes!
arm930
After a ton of thought, I've decided to decline my acceptance. I hope this opens up a spot for someone on the waitlist!
mcostine
I have also just declined my invitation in order to attend another school. So, hopefully at least two spots should be opening up for those on the waitlist!
alykat05
I just got the call that I was pulled from the waitlist! I seriously don't think I've ever been this excited about anything in my life; it feels like I won the lottery.
GWUlian
That is fantastic news! Never lose hope!
jinnyg06
I also got off the wait list! Keep the faith Do you remember where you were on the waitlist and how long you waited until you heard back from them about being accepted?
GWUlian
I didn't ask where I was on the waitlist and I think they only tell you "high, middle, or low". I must have been pretty high though since I got in two weeks after the initial acceptances went out, and you have two weeks to put in your deposit or otherwise give up your seat. drew@GWU2020
Hello all, Happy to see a GWU online community on these forums. I guess we can get a FB group formed down the line! My name is Drew and I'm entering the PA/MPH program this May. Had a great experience during my interview weekend and was stunned to her from Dr. Wright before the holidays! Will never forget the feeling. I will be moving into the DC area in about a month or so. Leaving my paramedic job in Richmond, VA is bittersweet, but I'm pumped to start this journey. Good luck to all of those still waiting!
FamousAmos
As crazy as it sounds, I just gave up my seat for the upcoming class. Hope this gives someone else an opportunity to get off the waitlist!
Guest Scott1234
So this is my first year applying to PA programs, and I have been fortunate enough to have been offered an interview on Sept. 23rd. I understand that GWU's PA program utilizes the MMI format to interview applicants, which can be difficult to prepare for. But do any of the applicants from the previous cycle (those who have interviewed) have any advice on how to prepare for the MMI at GWU or insight to the type of questions that are asked or scenarios that are presented? Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! Scenarios changes each year and different types of scenarios are presented. It could range from "interpret this table" to "what would you do in this scenario." Therefore I don't think you can really prep for it beyond just practicing general interview skills and getting your confidence up.
