Would you mind telling us a little about the interview and maybe some of your stats (GRE and experience hours)?

Got the email last night to interview Sept 9! Super nervous. From their website I'm thinking the interview is MMI style since they are doing the stations with different prompts. Nervous and super excited to meet everyone :)

Hello! I received a rejection email today which was a reply to an email that I sent regarding the status of my app. That being said, I didn't apply to this program until the end of August. I'm assuming I applied too late since they use rolling admission. I replied to the email asking for feedback, so we will see what they say.

This is a brand new program with no accreditation. I would not recommend this program to anyone since this program its not well established. This program may possibly close in future so its not worth even applying or attending an interview. I went to visit this program and I didn't find worth pursuing. The class 2017 till 2019 who are accepted will be at a disadvantage since they are the guinea pigs and they don't have past students to help be a mentor. I would suggest investing time in another P.A. program that is accredited.

Actually, this program has received provisional accreditation. This means that every student who is accepted to the first class will be eligible to take the PANCE and obtain a license to practice medicine. Yes, there is a possibility the program may lose its provisional accreditation, but will not affect the first class to matriculate. If they had "no accreditation," there would be no first class.

I am one of the "guinea pigs" at a brand-new PA school in South Carolina and my experience has been extremely positive. Sure, we don't have alumni to "mentor" us, but there are many benefits to attending a brand-new program. I chose this brand new program over an established, fully accredited program, and I have no regrets.

It's your decision, but don't let the provisional accreditation alone disillusion you from attending this program. Being part of a program's first class is actually a really unique and awesome opportunity.
