I'm wondering if did they put you in that list prior to receive the phone call from the school. I hope you can help me. The email from 11/23 didn't say alternate list, it just said that they were still deliberating and would make a final decision when interviews were over. I think it was a 'hold' placement. My email from Rutgers asked me if I wanted to be placed in an alternate list in case someone didn't want to go there anymore.
