Does anyone have any updates on whats going on with the interview process? If you had an interview in December how did it go? Any news on how many spots are still open, what other interview dates are there, etc...?

I haven't heard yet either, although I did hear a rumor that there were approximately 1100 applicants this year. Needless to say, it might take a little longer to hear back than expected.

If you get an interview consider asking the following questions as they pertain to each class over the past seven years:

 

1. What was the ratio of admitted students to graduated students?

2. What was the ratio of male to female students admitted?

3. What was the ratio of male to female students dismissed from the program?

4. What was the ratio of male to female students allowed to drop from the program then offered the opportunity to return the following year?

Ttchopper is this your third one for western?? I don't mind sharing.... I am a medical social worker and have about 10000 hours with that and phlebotomy experience.

No, no, hehe, I meant this interview at wmu will be my 3rd PA school interview this year. This is my 1st yr applying.

can any of those who already interviewed or about to interview would share their stat, if they dont mind. i just like to see if there is hope to get interview. Thank you so much

I've got an interview on the 27th and my GPA stats are--

Total: 3.5

Science: 3.39

Nonscience: 3.66

With 1200 HCE hrs, 1500 research hrs, and bachelors & masters degrees.

 

Like some here, I don't like the way CASPA figured my grades low.

me too, caspa calcaulate the grade way different, most of my science courses are A's and it looks like my gpa is low, i agree with you. Thank you so much for the sharing, at least we are sharing info.
