Has anyone heard of this or know anyone attending the program? Doctor of Medical Science at AT Still. Wondering how it compares to the Lynchburg program.

brand new program. they have not graduated a class yet. a bit cheaper than Lynchburg, but also a bit longer, 18 months vs 12. Should be a good program. I know the director. Very experienced educator and one of my former doctoral program instructors.

Thanks EMEDPA. I was checking it out since I know they have a good rep with their DHSc. You had me at "cheaper" but then you quickly lost me at "longer". I am gonna start a residency and like the fact that Lynchburg has a waiver for some of the courses. I think Lynchburg is gonna be a win for me.

The curriculum looks pretty weak compared to other doctorate programs and why why why do schools keep using "PA studies"? They should at least keep it to just Doctor of Science (DSc).  DScPAS is just too long and I see no courses studying physician assistanting in the curriculum.

no way would I ever get a doctorate in PA - bad enough we are hampered by our name but not going to be a terminal doctorate in it when I practice medicine not PA
