NYCPAC Posted March 15, 2016 Share Posted March 15, 2016 Does anyone have any info on CCS and their recognition of PAs? I am and out of state PA relocating to California to practice. From what i grasp it seems as though CCS sets the regulations for pediatric healthcare and its reimbursements-however does not recognize PAs as healthcare providers in the multidisciplinary team, thus making anything we do for our pedi patients not reimbursable. Ive also read briefly that there is a pending lawsuit either by CAPA or NCCPA for restriction of trade with CCS. Anyone have any other info, not sure if im digging myself into a hole here if i choose to continue working in pedi subspecialties, where anything we do is expensive and the hospital/practice should be paid out for!
