I emailed them and this is the response I got- Good morning, Thank you for your interest in the PA Program. The requirements for the upcoming cycle are as follows: Minimum of a Bachelor¹s degree Required Courses: 2 Biology courses (both with lab components) 2 Chemistry courses (both with lab components) 1 Microbiology course 1 Biochemistry course 1 course in Anatomy & Physiology/ 1 course in Anatomy 1 course in Physiology English composition (College level writing course) GRE exam is required (no minimum) TOEFL If your native language is not English you will be required to complete the exam Minimum of 200 hours of Healthcare Experience. (500 hours recommended) 2 Letters of Recommendation- One from a Physician or Physician Assistant the other academic GPA must be a B average or minimum of a 3.0 If you have any additional questions feel free to contact me. However, for direct patient care hours we do recommend that you engage in taking vital signs as well as blood draws, medical histories, etc. It is always a plus to have a variety of experiences in healthcare experiences. Here is a list of areas in which will give you the best direct patient care experience towards your application: Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, EMT, Phlebotomist, etc. Then I freaked out, bc this implies I would have to take english again which is ridic, but I went to college 2003-2007. Asked about that and she never got back to me. Sometimes - a lot of times - I think doing a post bac MD route is simpler than PA!
