Sure thing.

I just graduated college in May 2017 and am from Indiana.

Cumulative GPA: 3.6.  GRE: 300, 5.0 writing

Healthcare/related experience: 2000 hours as a CNA in the nursing home and hospital settings, 1200 hours as an ER scribe, 400 hours as a home health aide, 200 hours working as an activity aide at a nursing home, 60 hours volunteering in a children's hospital (current experience)

Is anyone going to the info session on December 15th? My interview is in April but I still signed up to go so I can get a look and it's only about a 3 hour drive from me.

I will be there! It's about a 3 hour drive from me as well. My interview is also in April. Where are you coming from if I can ask?! My mother is coming with me too.

I'm also hoping to make it to the interview for the conditional track as well. I applied in July but no details besides a possible decision in January-March

@amh299

@pmg93

my cumulative caspa GPA was ~2.5

Do you guys mind sharing yours? I feel like Trine has been very open about dialogue as to taking the holistic approach and looking at the well-round candidate.

Have you either of you guys talked to any other schools about the past 40 or so credit hour GPA vantage point instead?

@cnk99@lynnk Are you both still coming to the interview this weekend? I will be there, and I am local. If you need any suggestions on restaurants for the night before or have any other questions about Ft. Wayne, please feel free to reach out!

Yes I will be there! I'm staying at the Best Western Luxbury Inn on Friday night.

It will be fun to meet you! If you like steak, there is a decent restaurant close to your hotel called the Tavern at Coventry. If you are willing to drive about 5-10 minutes, our favorite restaurant in town is called Catablu. Let me know if you need any help navigating the Fort! And, welcome!

I won't be! I was accepted somewhere else. Good luck on your interview this weekend though!

Have fun with the interview. They throw a few curve balls, just be ready to think on your feet and you should do well.

Congrats melseyp! I’m from Wisconsin. Where are you from?

Hi, akohl2! Congrats to you as well! I live here in Fort Wayne! I'm happy to help show whoever isn't from here around town. It's a good place to live with just enough to do and a lot of AMAZING restaurants.
