I didn't do it for winter, but am seriously thinking about it for spring. They slice a chunky percentage off your tuition if you enroll concurrently and I figure I'll end up going back for it anyway if I don't do it now. What's your pro/con list like? emilypea Posted November 21, 2011 Author Share Posted November 21, 2011 I don't think that there is any cons to the dual degree other than spending an extra year in school and more work. :) I would recommend doing it, especially if you think you will go back to do an MPH in the future. I think it has made me a more well rounded PA-S and I feel like I have a deeper understanding of the "big picture" of medicine, rather than a "here's your pills, see you whenever you come back" mentality that a lot of my classmates have.
