kslight6
Hello, I am thinking about taking up a new job as a wound care specialist PA-C. I have very little experience in wound care but the job provides training/ wound fellowship. Does anyone have any experience as a wound care specialist? What are the challenges or rewards of being wound care specialist? What does a typical work day look like? How many patients do you see and how much support ( supervising doctor's time) do you get? how much of your job involves traveling? Does a wound care specialist get paid between $70,000-$80,000 or should it be more because it is considered a specialty? Thank you ahead of time for any insight or comments you all have for me. Thank you!
