Raynstorm
I am so worried about my application to the program my overall is a 3.0 and my pre-req gpa is a 3.7, but I am worried that will not be enough does anyone have any insight for me. I graduated from Wayne State with a B.S. Mortuary Science. I have 2 years of helping care work do I need shadowing experience? They do not have that listed, and I am so worried about this essay  I have so much anxiety.
cushball08
Wish I could help you. But Im in the same boat. Im applying now. I attend the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Im pretty sure shadowing is good thing to have. Lets the schools know you understand the role of a PA in the health care field. I lucked out. My roommate's father was a PA. So I was able to shadow him this past summer. Best experience ever. What essay? Do you mean the personal statement? I wrote about how I found out the career as well as how my life experiences have molded me into the person I am today. Its an essay about you. Just write what comes to you. Its not a research paper luckily. Best wishes!
