Which region/apartments should I stay away from? Any current students have advice for a decent living situation (under 2k/mo.)? Again, thank you so much for taking the time... I am coming from the west coast and do not know anyone in NY :( I plan to come out soon and get my housing situation out of the way. I was thinking of living relatively close to winthrop hospital (approx. 10-15min). I figure living closer to the city would help on the days when we are commuting to Bayshore (traffic: driving in the opposite direction of rush hour traffic). Plus, I have yet to see many legit options around the Bayshore campus. We'll have to share contact info, I will message you soon.
