lbing21
UPAP is my first choice, but I'm a little nervous about my low PCE. From the following stats, please comment on my chances... Public Health Undergraduate Degree on Pre-Med track GPA: 3.8 Science GPA:3.7 PCE: 1000 hours Research Experience: 2000 hours Many extracurricular EMT-B and CPR certified 23 yrs old Thanks! Good luck to everyone.
MrsRonSwanson
It's worth a shot. I believe UPAP likes a lot of HCE, but who knows what else they look at. The worst that happens is you don't get in this cycle and you have another year to get more HCE. Did you apply to other programs? Your stats are great for a lot of other programs. china1622
However, if you go to the information sessions Doris makes it very clear that there are no for sure things. You can have a lower GPA/HCE and if you interview well, show passion, etc. you will be just as competitive as the high GPA/HCE that doesn't know the PA history, info on UPAP, etc. It does sound like next year things are going to be shook up a bit though.
