Melvin78
Hello all. Does anyone have any good hospitalist/internal medicine CME conferences to recommend? I missed the hospitalist boot camp and I would like to find something else. Thanks Cory
deborah212
Boston is expensive, but you'd be hearing lectures from the best of the best: Update in Hospital Medicine, September 21-23rd, Boston, MA Presented by Brigham and Women's Hospitalist Service http://cme.med.harvard.edu/cmeups/pdf/03114282.pdf http://cme.med.harvard.edu/index.asp?SECTION=CLASSES&ID=03114282
sbellin
I'm looking at the UCSF mini-college in late October if I can get funding for it. Does anyone have experience with it?
mikejfox
Do PAs serve as a hospitalist in some hospitals? I think that would be a great job.

mikejfox
Do you know which hospitals have PAs as hospitalists? That idea fascinates me. I am happy where I am, but I wouldn't mind doing a little research.

pa10stud
I am looking into hospital medicine CME as well, would love to go to the Hospital Medicine Boot Camp and it looks like its moving to New Orleans this year but the week in October won't work with my schedule. Would love to hear how your experiences were with different hospitalist conferences? Has anyone been to the annual Society of Hospital Medicine conferences? Do many PA's go to that conference or is it mainly MD/DO's?
Joseph22541
There's a CME conference coming up in January 2012 in Las Vegas sponsored by Chamberlin. I went to one of their conferences before and they're good IMHO. Viva Las Vegas baby...YEAH!!!!

jpaulsonMD
I just completed a free online cme activity about In-Hospital Hyponatremia. Hospitalists may participate in the activity and you'll get to earn 1.5 cme credits. Here's the link: http://www.tufts-hyponatremia.com. The activity also ends in December of this year so you have plenty of time.
