Planteater
oh I'm sorry to hear that. I guess I jumped to the wrong conclusion there. That is strange that they are sending the rejections after all the interviews are over. I would think they already know who is getting a rejection and it seems kind of cruel to drag it out and make people wait like that :-(

iCarly
ECU interview tomorrow! Has anyone who interviewed last week heard their final decision? I am just curious as to how long it takes for them to notify you about whether or not you've been accepted.... Good luck everyone!

Planteater
iCarly- I don't think they make offers on a rolling basis. I could be wrong, and hopefully someone who has interviewed already will correct me if I am, but here is what their website says about the timeline:

CASPA Application Deadline September 1

Applications screened by program assistants As received

Applications reviewed by Admissions Committee Bi-monthly August-November

Interview offers made Early-mid December

Interviews conducted Throughout the month of February

Offers of admission extended First week of March

Immunizations and outstanding requirements due July 1

So I think everyone hears back the first week of March no matter when they interviewed....? tpharrin
I had my interview Jan. 20 and LOVED the program! Very friendly and inviting atmosphere! I was extremely nervous on my way, but the staff and students made me feel so welcome, it was hard not to be relaxed and myself. Good luck to everyone with their interviews Feb. 10. Previous posts do a great job outlining the format of the interview, so be sure to read those. It was similar at other schools I interviewed at as well, so nothing out of the ordinary. Apparently, everyone that has interviewed will hear Feb. 15, so don't think they are doing "rolling admissions" this year. Best of luck to everyone! MarciKiser
Just to add to what tpharrin said, the current first-years said around 15-20% of their class was initially wait-listed, so even if you get not-good news on February 15th, there's still plenty of time for the situation to redound in your favor!
