Are they strict with the 2000 hours requirement?

Recommended Posts

I am starting the supplemental but the pre-requisite list states 2000 hours of direct patient care. I have around 650 hours and another 1200 in research which was medical lab work. Are they strict with the 2000 hours, and does it all have to be directly with patients?

Anyone get interview with less hours? I'm trying to decide if I will be wasting the supplemental $.

You probably should call them and ask just to be sure. I did breast cancer research with molecular biology techniques and they counted it toward the hours.
