ajohnson2
wow, through the Spring... they sure spread it out haha. I sent in my app in October and have called them twice to update my profile, but have heard nothing back from them.
er_
Yeah-I figured they'd be one of the first ones done since they're rolling. It's not too far from where I live; I'm planning to visit there next Monday. I really like the looks of this school!!
er_
They called this morning: I have an interview next Wednesday, March 3. I am so so so soooo happy about this.

Oneswtworld
I recently pulled my application from consideration following my interview as I received an admission offer from another institution. Good luck to those still interviewing / waiting for interview slots. Hang in there, it appears to be a good program and worth the wait.

USN2UNC
Hi All, I am planning on applying for the class starting 2011 and was wondering since they do rolling admissions, is late Dec or early Jan too late to apply to be competitive? Any thoughts and opinions are welcome!
kvfleming
I applied early Jan, and apparently they are still doing reviews and my application is under review. But I cant give any advice quite yet to if I applied too late because I dont know how the class is or anything....but i'll keep you updated! p911sc
I suggest you apply in the summer if possible. The earlier you apply, the more likely you are to get an interview. September at the latest, even if you have pre-reqs in progress. I did and was still accepted. Best of luck.

p911sc
July is probably your best bet. Just so you have an idea, I applied 8/31/09, received an interview invite 10/12/09 for 10/26/09 and was accepted 11/5/09.
kvfleming
I know it wasn't for me but thanks for that timeline p911sc, definitely gave a good idea of their process. And congrats on getting accepted!

er_
Tomorrow 9am: the big interview day. All along, Salus has impressed me with their materials and their correspondence...very excited to see it up close and personal tomorrow! Day after tomorrow: I have to send a $1000 deposit to save me a spot in another school. But I admit...I want Salus. :)

er_
er_ how did your interview go? hope it went well! how long did it take you to hear back from Salus about an interview date? The interview was AMAZING. This is the only interview I've felt great about (it also was my last one for the year), which I realize doesn't mean it was perceived as such from the other end :) Some other people on here said they withdrew their apps from all other schools once they were accepted to Salus. I now know why. The place is a dream come true for PA school. The director is very down to earth, and made it more a conversation than an interview. I actually was in with him for about an hour--hopefully that's a good sign! CASPA got my stuff on August 11. As for the interview date, my story probably won't help you--I got into another school on Feb 18, and on Feb 19 I called Salus--I hadn't heard anything from them re: interviewing. I wanted to know if there was any chance I'd be considered for an interview as they were the top of my list. That was Friday, they called on Tuesday inviting me to interview. This was apparently their last "scheduled" interview day, meaning if they don't fill up with everyone they've seen so far, they will hold some more days. They said that IF they weren't full yet, they were very very close. Their class of 2012 will have 40 students. Their committee meets next Weds and we will hear sometime within that next week. They will snail mail AND email.

fuzzypa
How long did it take for you guys to hear anything from them? I just recently applied right before the March deadline and was wondering when I would possibly hear anything form them if I was to be picked. Thanks and best of luck to everyone.
