meaux
testicular appendix torsion "A blue-dot sign is present in only 21% of cases." Not very specific but non the less pathognomonic. Thx for the correction, this was differentiated in class. http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/778170-overview
Guest mitman
I have been a PA since 1996 and I had to recertify again this year. Honestly I have been procrastinating and it was hard for me to get into any kind of study mode. Last time I recertified I was still in clinical medicane but in my current PA position I don't deal with patients. That made it even more difficult and I really forgot a lot. I want to say thank you to all of you on this forum and in particular on this thread. You all got me excited about relearning everything and about studying for the PANRE. I am happy to say that I got my results this morning and I passed agian!!!!!

I have 146 of them so far, but I don't take the pance until the 16th that's when it will be finished. I'll put them up once they are done.

marilynpac
Congrats mitman, I'm also a 96 grad and did my recert this year. I passed and I'm still on a high. Yep it was hard to study, but it was worth it. I didn't discover this site until after my test, but thank goodness PAs now have a place to go for real info. My turn: Struvite stones: Thei most common uropathogen associated with them. What commonly used antibiotic would probably be useless in a struvite stone associated UTI? Chica724
So here is my clinical buzzwords list. Now of course there is no guarantee that it is 100% correct. Also, when I put "patho." at the end of it-it means Pathognomonic and "sx" means sign. Clinical Buzzwords.doc
