halie45
I see it all different ways. It must have to do with the context the word is used. Does anyone know the correct way?

gran0480
I had a few English grad students review my personal statement, and I asked them the same question. Even though they're not experts in the medical field, they had two suggestions: 1. Don't use a hyphen 2. Pick either healthcare or health care, and then remain consistent. The inconsistency is what bothers adcoms, not the word itself. Hope that helps!

sastacey7
According to Webster's Medical it is two words, no hyphen. That is 'health care.' I know they are not the best medical dictionary out there, but are very widely accepted.
