Wheel chair B-ball -that's awesome!

G'luck to everyone.

hi guys, just wondering, is standford pa program a master of a bachelor? thank you

Neither, but you can get your bachelors at San Jose State (after completion of the program i believe) or if you already have a bachelors you can opt to do an online Masters of Medical Science through St. Francis.

I received my postcard 4 days after I mailed in my application. Try not to stress too much at this point - I'm sure they received your application. Last year it took several weeks to get my postcard in the mail. If you don't receive it in the next month or so then you should consider emailing/calling the program. After you get your postcard in the mail then you get to start stressing about being invited to a "validation appointment". Ahhh....the application period. Unfortunately I've been through this several years and have quite a bit more gray hair because of it.

I applied to another program and the same day I received my postcard from Stanford in the mail I received one of my LORs that had been included in the application packet to the other school I am applying to. I thought "this is kind of strange". So I called the program to ask them why they mailed back my LOR (it was in a self-addressed envelope but the physician who wrote it hand delivered it to me). To make a long story short the program director told me that they did not mail my LOR back to me and that my application was incomplete and that they do not process incomplete applications - basically saying "you are out". I could not figure out what happened. Then the program director called me back 5 minutes later and said that my application packet had been delivered in damaged condition and that my LOR must have fallen out and the post office mailed it to me since it had my address on it. I am now back in the running. For better or for worse, my application at that school was brought to the full attention of the program director.

Yes, the application period can be stressful but try not to worry too much.

I live in Aromas CA about 20 minutes from Monterey. I applied 2 years ago and didn't make it...Hopefully this will be my year. I was a Navy (FMF) Corpsman for 7 years, LVN, EMT/ EMT P, and now working as an ER RN. I volunteer with Veterans and VFW, married with 2 kids. I know that we aren't going to hear anything until the end of Nov or start of Dec, but I am chomping at the bit and racing to the mail box daily. I didn't even make it to interviews last time, so we shall see. I wish everyone the best of luck... Colleen
