Would this be an aproppiate medical terminology class?

Recommended Posts

So I'm thinking of taking a medical terminology class because some PA schools require the class.

However I'm not sure if this class would be fine for me to take since it's called Med Bio & Terminology instead of Medical Terminology. It's also online (is this much of a problem?) or should I take it at an actual classroom?

The class is called: Med Bio & Terminology

The description states: This is a course that develops a working knowledge of the medical biology and terminology used by medical personnel. It familiarizes students with basic terms in anatomy, physiology and the pathology of the human body. The terminology is presented system by system. (This course does not fulfill the science requirement for graduation in a degree program).

Should I take this class? Or should I look elsewhere?

You will need to email individual programs to answer this question. As long as the university is at least regionally credited, it shouldn't be an issue at all. I think it would be acceptable and online is definitely fine, but double check with the programs you are looking at.
