grapeape3 Posted July 6, 2011 I am guessing that the personal statment does not have to fill all 5000 characters in length....but will this hurt an application?? To me, being succinct is more important than just trying to fill space with repetition or fluff. What are some opinions on this?
Beorp Posted July 6, 2011 5000 characters really isn't that long, especially when you're trying to sell yourself to a school. I would suggest that while being succinct, you hopefully have enough experience or points to share with the admissions officers that you will easily be able to use all of the available space.
