quarternote Posted July 1, 2011 Share Posted July 1, 2011 We are in the process of preparing for a site visit to become a Bariatric Center of Excellence. I have been put in the position of having to put together clinical pathways. Our office RN is helping with this. I have no idea where to start. We have a 1 page checklist and have questions as to what they are asking for. For example: They ask for a crash cart...do they mean we need an AED in our office. We have an emergency kit but not a crash cart. Also, are there examples for any of this? I know there are several Bariatric PA's here. Do any of you have any direction or links to resources to help me. Anything would be of help. I have been researching online and at the ASMBS site. Any help is appreciated.
