warz2k4 Posted June 24, 2011 Share Posted June 24, 2011 To those who were accepted for manhattan campus class of 2014, I was wondering if you guys can post your academic statistics to see where I stand in terms of competition for incoming classes. Pre-Req GPA : 3.4 Overall GPA: Hopefully graduate in May 2012 with a 3.0 Volunteering at ER in Hospital : About 150hrs by end of summer Shadowing PA: about 20 Hrs by end of summer Degree: Medical Technology B.S My grades aren't stellar but what are my chances? I did meet with some program staff this past spring and I believe they felt that I was a competitive applicant. Here are my stats: Pre-req GPA: 3.8 Undergrad GPA: 3.3 Patient Care: 2,000+ hours Volunteering: 200+ hours Shadowing: 100+ hours in 5 different areas Currently pursuing a Masters of Public Health Degree My sister attended Touro and is a happily employed, well-educated PA --- I hope that everything goes well for you in the application process! That's what I gathered. They review after each deadline. Early decision is Nov 1st, and regular decision is Feb 1st.
