Moderator EMEDPA Posted June 9, 2011 Moderator Share Posted June 9, 2011 I know a derm pa. his days go like this: m-th 9-4 fri 9-2:30 m/w/f clinic work: skin checks, biopsies, cosmetic procedures, surgical f/u's. t-th first assist derm md with mohs and other procedures in their office surgical suite. doc only works tues and thurs a few hrs/day for surgery and consults for pts who may need external resources. pa runs the practice the rest of the week, decides who needs surgery and what kind, etc short appts, high volume practice. he makes good money but works for it.
