juliayang326
Does having a BA versus a BS (both in biological sciences) affect how PA schools will accept you or not? Thanks
ohiovolffemtp
I have a BS - in computer science. I applied to 2 schools, was accepted by one, wait listed and ultimately accepted by the 2nd. From what I saw in my application process, what mattered was: 1) having all the pre-req courses - with good grades and a good overall GPA 2) having good health care experience (mine was many years as a paramedic) 3) interviewing well YMMV
Administrator rev ronin Posted June 7, 2011 Administrator Share Posted June 7, 2011 No, there's no reason a BA vs a BS matters. Grades, classes, type of school (cc vs. public university vs. private) and a dozen other things would matter more even if I'm wrong and it did matter.
