GreyhoundGirl
I just got verified with CASPA (late start due to finishing prereqs that HAD to be done before applying). I was looking over my application and saw that my WES (World Education Services) info was way off. It says "undergraduate" with a GPA of "2.2." NOPE! It was graduate level and I didn't actually get my GPA calculated, but it should be closer to 3.5. So, I had to call CASPA, then WES, then send WES an email, now wait for their response, have them re-send the correct info, and get re-verified with CASPA! All for a service I paid over $200 for!!! Ahh! Sorry for the rant, but you all know how important this stuff is and how frustrating it is when you do everything correctly and it's still wrong. I emailed my programs and let them know of the issue, just in case they see that and think "wow, she really blew it at her foreign school..." At least the rest of my GPA calculation is correct. ddisilvestro
I'm sorry for your experience but it sounds like this was a mistake on WES's part, not CASPA's. WES transcripts are sent directly to CASPA by WES and CASPA does not alter these as they come in.
