MilitaryVetPAtraining
For some issues such as knee or shoulder pain, I am pretty sure they don't mind, but I am wondering if one gets rated for mental health issues. What happens?
Maverick87
For some issues such as knee or shoulder pain, I am pretty sure they don't mind, but I am wondering if one gets rated for mental health issues. What happens? How would they know what you're rated for unless you tell them? They can't legally ask that. You should still get a 10 point preference. mlsiebe
Mav is right, in fact if your rating is high enough then you will be able to take advantage of Schedule A Hiring Authority. A rating for metal health actually helps your cause for Schedule A. Your counselor can with you a Schedule A letter to present to the hiring authority when you apply.
