isabelhona
Hi All, I am a PA with 9 years of experience in family medicine but am transitioning to per diem urgent care work. I was offered 65/hour, physician covers malpractice, and no benefits. Is that a reasonable hourly wage for an urgent care PA? I am in NJ. Thanks. cushball08
Sounds resonable.. I applied for a part time urgent care with one year hospital medicine experience. I was offered 40 an hr as a 1099 employee. In addition i would have to get my own malpractice. I laughed at the offer. Then again this Florida. Moderator ventana Posted August 29, 2015 Moderator Share Posted August 29, 2015 reasonable given the follow this is per diem only - not part time or full time hidden as per diem this is not a patient mill - normal number of patients seen = 2-4 per hour typical nursing support, and you are no the MA/Nurse/Receptionist
