Hi all!! Congrats to everyone who got invited for an interview for AACC/UMB this year! I'm so excited! I've never applied to PA school before, and AACC is the only school I was able to apply to (due to finances, proximity to home, etc.) Have any of you been through this interview process before? What can we expect? Also, how are you all preparing for Interview Day? Can't wait to meet everyone! Good luck to all!
Hello all San Diego PA's!
I'm looking to shadow a Physician Assistant of any specialty here in San Diego County/Temecula area . I am studying pre-PA coursework at a local college for pre requisites and have been an EMT in San Diego for 8 months.I am professional, passionate about medicine, and inquisitive. I would be very grateful for any opportunity. Thank you for taking the time to reading my post.
I will be attending bootcamp for the Navy in October 2018. I have a bachelors degree in sports medicine and will be going in as an E-3 for HM. I plan on attending C school for surgical technician so I can gain more experience before applying to PA school. I would like to know what is the minimum amount of time I am most likely to serve before I can be promoted to an E-5 and apply to IPAP or a civilian PA program. And does anyone have any tips on how I can expedite my journey to becoming a PA (perhaps, should I choose a different C-school)? Any info helps. Thanks!
