joedesrosiersii
I was recently accepted to a PA program. Is it common for schools to request some sort of verification of pt contact hours. I found it weird that no where on CASPA did they ask for proof of hours. Sent from my XT1097 using Tapatalk
AliB
One school where I applied did specify that they would require paystubs or some other verification of patient contact hours. None of the places where I was accepted required documentation. I suspect there's an expectation that you're a professional and you aren't going to lie about your experience. Also, in today's interconnected world, a lie would likely be found out at some point and the repercussions would be heavy.
joedesrosiersii
Ali, I agree... It just seemed odd to me. I'm not worried about it I have everything verified and documented. Just would think that having it be such an important criteria for admission it would be regulated more. Sent from my XT1097 using Tapatalk

I had this same thought about verifying experience hours, but can you imagine how impossible that would be for CASPA to actually do? We'd probably have to apply a year in advance.
