sy0121
I was dismissed from a PA program for missing the GPA mark by 0.1 . Has anyone ever been dismissed and reapplied? I was wondering if they would even offer an interview to listen to the reasons why? Do people give second chances anymore?
Administrator rev ronin Posted August 5, 2015 Administrator Share Posted August 5, 2015 You're going to have a tough road of it. You'll need to make a compelling proposition to a new (well, new to you) program about why they should take a risk on you, rather than offer that same seat to some new, fresh face who hasn't failed at PA school before. SHU-CH
I know a couple people that went on to succeed and graduate in another school. I think the best course of action is to be very clear about what your deficiency was and make sure that you have demonstrated that you did something above and beyond to fix it. You will get some points for drive and determination, but you have to prove you can deliver academically.
