Distance PA opportunities

Recommended Posts

Has anyone worked at an camp or Oil rig on a month on month off type schedule? My father is currently working in the camps on the North slope of Alaska and makes extremely good money as an electrician. He told me the other day when he goes to medical he is usually seen by a PA. Has anyone worked one of these positions? If so what kind of experience is normally required, and how much is the usual going rate? I imagine it would be pretty lucrative.

most schedules are either 2 weeks on/2 weeks off or month on/month off. see beacon occupational health for info on these jobs. most pay 125k+  and require strong em skills(prior paramedic, solo coverage positions, etc). I have several friends who have done this. great job and would consider if single/no kids.
