Has anyone else recieved invitations to interview?

 

Received an email this morning inviting me to interview this Friday, April 8th.

Does anyone know when exactly the interview dates are?

I have my interview today April 18th at 12:30! I saw on the website it said to bring a small passport size photo of yourself, but when I got the email for the interview it didn't mention anything. I called and left a message regarding this question, but no call back yet. 

 

Anyone know if we need to bring a photo for them to keep?

You do not need to bring a photo for them.  Just make sure to have a photo ID so they can verify your identity.

I interviewed April 8th.  Definitely understand being nervous, but just be yourself!

They said that notifications on status will begin starting June 1st.

I contacted the school directly and admissions informed me that interviews will be held until the end of May. I hope this helps!

They said that notifications on status will begin starting June 1st.

 

When I went to my interview, they said that they plan to notify us before June 1st, but not to worry if you do not hear until June 1st.

From what I have seen, it looks like they have sent out all invites through may.. and they plan to make decisions end of May/June 1st at the latest.

Congrats to everyone that received an interview invite! I was just wondering how many people that interview per day? Also, does anyone know the format of the interview? Traditional? MMI? Group?

I just spoke to Mike Delgato, he stated that the program received 5900+ applications for the 26 spots. That they have narrowed it down to 2000 applicants and interviewing 150.

 

He also stated that the program will start in the fall, and we should all know by early June. The last of interviews will be going out in early May.

 

I asked about my application specifically and he said he is at no disclosure to tell me anything. He told me he receives over 40 emails per day regarding applications, so it seems like a chaotic mess.

 

He said the application portal re-opens June 1st on CASPA.

When I did my interview there, they said they only granted 100 interviews, and that notification would go out mid-end may. 

 

BTW CASPA opens this wed, not June 1st so don't delay :)

Yes CASPA opens April 27, however SCU application for the PA program will not appear on CASPA until June 1st.

They gave me an interview invite one week before the interview date they provided me. I'm not sure if this is the same for everyone so for those who have still not received an invite, there may still be time.

Just got an interview invite 2 days before the actual interview(29th). I will be declining so hopefully they will have time to invite someone else.

I emailed Shelley last week, she said end of May HOPEFULLY... possibly beginning of June. So probably not :\
