I'm wondering why they're not able to review applications until after they're granted provisional accreditation. They said at the info session they couldn't even see the apps until then. Which is wierd because there are other new programs that are also waiting for their provisional status in March that ARE reviewing apps and interviewing.

Just emailed Nancy Ventura and she told me that they should hear back about their accreditation in the next 2 weeks.

My friend received an email last week that he was invited for an interview here, so there's hope for the rest of us to start receiving the same soon! Good luck to everyone!

I got an invitation but I'm thinking not to attend. It is only provisionally accredited and if it doesn't get accredited by the end o the cycle then we lose everything. its like graduating a PA school and not being able to take the exam. It is a gamble. we can win or we can lose everything and there is no refund.

What everyone else think about this?

@slimpa That's not how it works. If they have provisional accreditation when you start the program, then even if they lose all accreditation while you are attending you can still sit and take the pance.

They only need to have at least provisional accreditation when you start, which prevents you from wasting your time!

I am a current PA student living in the Bay Area and will be relocating to Los Angeles in mid-August. This means I am finishing my last 3 rotations in Southern California. If anyone knows of an OB/GYN who is willing to precept a PA student for 5 weeks sometime September-December I would greatly appreciate it!

I am college senior who currently is only taking online classes to finish up my degree. I have already completed all my Pre-PA required classes. I also am working in an Ophthalmologist office currently doing front desk work but working my way towards becoming a technician as well as a scribe for the doctors. I have had a hard time finding any PAs willing to let me shadow in the Anaheim/Orange/Tustin area, and was just wondering if there any out there??

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
