I am graduating in August from A.T. Still in Mesa, AZ and am starting at the new Emory CT residency in September. I am debating taking some time off from my ER rotation to attend this conference. Recommended?

I am the speaker chairman for this conference and a member of the APACVS CME Committee. We are continuing the tradition of providing critical care topics in the summer and cardiothoracic topics in January. An added focus this year will be understanding, preventing, and treating hospital complications. I am also putting the finishing touches on the echo workshop that will be popular.

 

The venue is fantastic. I had to see it to believe it.

Another reason to stay in touch with APACVS is that it provides an opportunity to network with the Cardiothoracic PA community. I have found this to be an extraordinary group that initially helped me to understand what it is that a Cardiothoracic PA can do and continues to help me to refine and expand my knowledge and skills.
