I participated in the first round of interviews on July 20th. 9 people interviewed, and 8 of the 9 were invited to join the program (me being one of those 8 :) ).

Good luck to everyone. It seems like a super program!

Oh my goodness, you found out super quickly! When were you notified?

Major: Kinesiology

My overall GPA ~3.8

Science (or key) GPA: ~3.6

GRE Quantative: 153

GRE Verbal: 148 (not good I know)

Experience: Over 2,000 hours. I've worked as an ER technician and a medical scribe, which I would highly recommend working as a scribe if possible. It is by far the superior/more educational experience.

Shadowing hours: 75 documented hour. But easily 150+ with working in an Emergency Room for over a year; many of those hours go undocumented.

Volunteer: Over 150 hours volunteering in a hospital.

Am I leaving anything out?

Best of luck!

@alienware, who cares about the verbal score, the rest of your app is rocking... and you got in! Scribing is an excellent experience. I have learned so much from that job and many of the schools that I have applied to are considering that as PCE.
