@Dreamer716 That's kind of what my application looked like last year and unfortunately I didn't get into PA school. However, you never know maybe you'll get in! Each case is different depending on what schools you will apply to. Apply early and leave the rest up to fate. If you don't get in then don't worry there's always next year but meanwhile try to work on your application. I wish you the best of luck! :)

Hi @TarheelGirlx3 ! I am a student at Ohio State and I have very similar stats to you! Please let me know any helpful tips you get! I am feeling a little skeptical about applying this cycle, too! Also, did you submit your application prior to actually taking your GRE? I am in the same boat right now, schedule to take the GRE August 15th, but I want to submit my application much sooner!

@heatherjung8, I have submitted, just waiting to be verified! So as soon my schools receive my GRE my app will be complete. My situation is a little unique because even though my sGPA is around a 3.1, my pre-requisite GPAs for most schools range from 3.4-3.7, so that helps me out. I was told by an admissions rep from MU that she thinks I would be competitive if I made my anticipated GRE score (at least 300). Hope this helps!

When was the first time you applied? I am working on applying a second time around, but feel that I may need to spend more time improving my gpa, and am hesitant to wait another year, but I really do want to up my chances as an applicant. I'd love to hear your suggestions as a second time applicant.

How long did you spend on post-bac work, and what courses did you take/retake? I'm going through that now and am trying to figure everything out. Congrats btw!!!:)

I applied 2 years ago with little health care experience and significantly less post bacc work done. I only applied to 3 schools and had little chance of making any of them. I have taken a few classes each semester and constantly pursued every volunteer or shadowing opportunity that I came across and I hope to matriculate this coming spring. Be persistent and people will notice. Classes taken: Organic I & II, Biochem, Microbiology, A&P I & II, Psych, Speech Pathology, Medical Terminology, Genetics, and Immunology.
