I was at the 1/14-15 interview and received an acceptance email, but I have decided to attend another program.  I just called Ms. Kendrick and officially gave up my seat, hopefully someone on the wait-list will be offered that spot soon!  I enjoyed meeting everyone during the mid-Jan interview!  Best of luck to all those still waiting to hear and congrats to those accepted!

Hello all,

I took part in the Feb 4th & 5th interview. Prior to this interview, I attended one other in my home state. Honestly, I had applied to just that one school, but immediately after the interview i began searching for other programs. During my first interview i realized that the program and i did not match.

My interview at MC was phenomenal. This program is unique. The faculty is genuine, good hearted, friendly, and team oriented. I did not have any instances were i felt out of place or intimidated. They emphasize team work ann interpersonal relationships.

To answer the questions about the MMI-- It was awesome. just read the prompt and give an honest answer. The interviewers will keep the interview going for the entire 8 minutes. I thought the interviews were fun and gave me the opportunity to show the faculty who i really am. The best way to think about the MMI is, if you do bad in one of the interviews, you have 7 other to make it up in.

Good-Luck to everyone!

Thank you guys so much for posting. I normally do not read or post in forums, however this one has seems great. I have a few questions if you could kindly answer.

Thank you!

Everybody answer please! :)

1. Did you receive a message telling you that your CASPA application has been verified and your application was under review. If so, how long after submission did you receive it?

2. How long after CASPA verification did you find out about your invitation or decline for an interview?

3. How long after the email that you were being reviewed did you receive your invitation or decline for an interview?

Praying for you all. Please Kindly pray for me too!

God Bless!

@birdsnest85

applied sometime in nov/Decemberish and since i already sent in my caspa to some other schools in june, CASPA took less than a week to verify the application.
i got an email on Jan 11 saying mississippi college received my app and it was verified.

Jan 29, they sent me an invite to interview for the Feb 4-5 date, so it was very fast! make sure you watch your email on that, right quick

Each step of the application prosses can vary. I was actually on the phone with the enrollment specialist when I sent mine through CASPA and was emailed within thirty minutes. with that being said, I'm pretty sure everyone's application experience varies.

I do know this, if you have any questions regarding your application you can email someone (best bet would be Mrs. Kendrick) and they can give you the details on your application. MC has a pretty good reputation of getting applications processed quickly and sending emails, but with the semester in full swing, interviews, and general office task taking up more time-- it could cause a slight delay.

I think that MC gets your application prior to it being validated. I'm not possitive, but I think they have it as "rough draft" more or less.

With all that being said, if your app is varified by CASPA and you still haven't heard anything from MC, maybe the next best route would be to call or email them.

Good luck with the application! hope you get that interview email soon!
