Chances?

Recommended Posts

My last 45 units is 3.88. My science GPA (caspa) is 3.12. I have 8000+ hours as a medical assistant in weight-loss and mental health. I have done medical missions to cambodia, Mexico and have participated in multiple free health clinics in garden grove. Pretty worried about that 3.12 Science GPA.

How are my chances? Thank you for reading!

Don't worry.  If your letters and essays are stellar, there aren't any glaring failures in your science history, and your cGPA is good (yes, they do look at that even though it's not really mentioned on their website), you'll get an interview.  I interviewed there, and it seemed like they were really looking for well-rounded, diverse applicants.  Very warm, welcoming place and an awesome didactic year set up.  Once you land the interview, everyone's on an even playing field (i.e. GPA is no longer a factor).  Good luck!!
