fleur
I submitted as well! Just waiting on verification. South is my top choice :)
karebear12892
@Fleur, it's definitely one of my top choices. I currently live in Charleston and would love to stay close by. What have you heard as far as timeline for interviews?
fleur
According to the forum from last cycle it seems interviews are June through August. Some took place in September, but seats were filled by then so those interviews were for wait list seats. South notified interviewees ahead of time about that (which was very courteous!) BPB
Hey everyone! I'm also planning on applying! Is anyone going to apply to the Tampa program in addition to the Savannah one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
rachel_g_LU
Hello everyone. My application is submitted, just waiting for transcripts to arrive so it can be verified. South is my number one choice and I'm seriously praying for at least an interview. My stats are pretty low... No HCE, below average cGPA and below recommended sGPA. But, I just finished a year of grad school in biomedical science while working full time as a GSA teaching undergraduate A&P labs. I'm hoping that combined with a solid statement and LOR's will give them the "whole person" picture they're looking for... Crossing my fingers! Also have about 30 hrs shadowing a PA in neurosurgery. had1118
Anyone apply to South with outstanding prereqs? It seems (from talking with them) they only offer waitlist status to those with outstanding courses? Is that right? I am applying but have three weeks left in my spring organic, and a summer course. :(( @karebear12892- you have three outstanding courses?

karebear12892
@had1118 I was told as long as they are planned/in progress and will be completed before matriculation, I'd still be eligible to apply.

Does anyone know what their timeline is for reviewing applications and notifying applicants whether or not they've been invited for an interview? Just skimmed through last year's application thread - looks like they were inviting applicants for interviews in June of last year, so those of us who applied early should be hearing back very soon! rachel_g_LU
I hope you're right! I'm trying to make a backup plan in case I don't get in, so I just want to know one way or another. If I'm not accepted I'm planning on doing CNA training this summer and reapplying next year with a good amount of HCE. I'm so nervous!
