PAhopeful1214
I work the night shift in a rural hospital and because of this I am unable to work directly with my manager. I have contemplated how to have her write an evalution for me. I have thought about having some of the nurses that I work with at night add their evaulations to make an evaluation from multiple people but have it come from my manager, who would then add her thoughts. Or, should I just have a nurse that I work with on a nightly basis write the evaluation? If it is the second option, will they view it as less of an evaluation because they aren't my manager? cop to pa
Maybe consider one of the nurses who is regularly the charge nurse. That's a type of shift manager. I considered the same thing as I used to work nights and saw my actual manager about twice a year.
