SungSam
Can anyone tell me the number hours all PA students must complete per core rotation?
marktheshark89
Varies by the program, but typically 40hrs per week I'd say is the minimum. Many rotations will require much more.
greenmood
Depends on the program. IIRC ours was 35 hours per week. The only rotation I ever came close to that number was Family Medicine because my preceptor liked her time off. Every other rotation I was working a LOT more than that. skyfall
My program required 40 hours per week. There was always the occasional rotation where you may have to do less due to your preceptor's schedule, but my teachers either didn't mind. We were also allowed to make up extra time if you can find another doctor to work with in the area. But that was optional.
