footprintx
Anybody know how the accreditation review went in September? I've heard vaguely ominous things. As an alumni it'd be a shame to see the program come to an end.
rpackelly
The ARC-PA on their web page still has them listed as being on probation with date of next review as September 2014. Any other news is entirely unofficial so I would wait for official updates.
15690
The state has pulled their license and the school is appealing it.
Z PA-C
The state has pulled their license and the school is appealing it. If that's true, it is very sad. California would lose two programs in a pretty short period of time. First, SJVC and now maybe RCC too. :(
SoCalPA
I agree it would be sad. However, CA will gain a program once Drew re-opens. CA needs a program in the City of LA. There are a couple that are close but none within city limits.

That's nice to hear that Drew is coming back but it sucks to lose one of the only two public PA programs in CA, not to mention the most affordable one by leaps and bounds. (emphasis mine) Remember, boys and girls, the ARC-PA is essentially the enforcement arm of a cartel, so being cheaper than the vast majority of the other programs overseen may itself draw extra scrutiny... SoCalPA
^^ I have heard thus for awhile now but other than then being the ARC-PA's "In Development" list I haven't heard anything. I took my science pre-reqs there through their ISP and really found it to be worthwhile. Is there recent news?
